A power conditioner is a device that filters incoming AC power, protects connected equipment from voltage spikes and surges, and reduces electrical noise (RFI/EMI) that can cause hum, buzz, or interference in audio and video signals. Gigstore is the official UAE distributor for Furman, the industry-standard brand in power conditioning used by recording studios, touring engineers, broadcasters, and system installers worldwide.

Our Furman range covers six categories, from entry-level rack conditioners to Symmetrically Balanced Power units for critical mastering and broadcast work. Every unit listed is available in a 220-240V / 50Hz configuration suited to UAE mains power.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a power conditioner for my studio or rig?

If your setup includes sensitive electronics — audio interfaces, preamps, mixers, or amplifiers — a power conditioner protects that equipment from voltage spikes common in UAE venues and older buildings, and reduces electrical noise that can enter your signal chain.

What's the difference between a power conditioner and a surge protector?

A surge protector only clamps voltage spikes. A power conditioner does that plus filters RFI/EMI noise and, in higher-tier models, regulates voltage — giving cleaner, more stable power to connected gear.

Are Furman power conditioners compatible with UAE power (220-240V)?

Yes. Furman produces dedicated 220-240V / 50Hz models (denoted with an "-E" suffix) built specifically for markets outside North America, including the UAE and GCC.

How many outlets do I need?

A small pedalboard or two-piece rig typically needs 4-6 outlets; a full studio or stage rack commonly needs 8-10 or more. Check each product's outlet count and total amperage before loading multiple high-draw devices onto one unit.
