The Ernie Ball P02223 Super Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings – 9-42 Gauge are one of the most popular light-gauge electric guitar string sets, offering a comfortable playing feel, balanced tone, and reliable performance for a wide range of musical styles. The set uses nickel-plated steel wrap wire around a tin-plated hex-shaped steel core, while the plain strings are made from specially tempered tin-plated high-carbon steel.

With gauges from .009 to .042, Super Slinky strings provide a light tension that makes bending, vibrato, fretting, and fast playing easier. They are an excellent choice for rock, pop, blues, country, and general electric guitar playing, and are suitable for both beginners and experienced musicians.
