Hotone NLA-1 Nano Legacy British Invasion 5W Guitar Amplifier Head

Overview

The Hotone NLA-1 Nano Legacy British Invasion is a compact 5W Class AB guitar amplifier head designed to deliver the character of classic British guitar tones in an exceptionally small format. Inspired by the legendary VOX AC30, it provides a practical way to achieve expressive British-style sounds at manageable volume levels for home playing, recording, practice, and portable rigs.

Despite its miniature size, the British Invasion gives you dedicated Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls for shaping your sound. Its 4–16Ω speaker output, FX loop, headphone/line output, and Aux In make it easy to integrate with a suitable guitar cabinet, effects pedals, headphones, or an external music player.

British-Inspired Guitar Tone

The British Invasion is designed to capture the main characteristics of classic AC30-style guitar amplification. Its 5W Class AB design delivers a focused, lively response that works well for players looking for recognizable British-inspired character without the size and volume demands of a traditional large amplifier.

Flexible Tone Controls

Gain and Volume controls let you balance the amount of drive and overall output, while the independent 3-band EQ gives you straightforward control over Bass, Middle, and Treble. This makes it easy to adapt the amplifier's character to different guitars, cabinets, playing styles, and musical situations.

Connect to Different Cabinets

The dedicated speaker output supports cabinets with impedances from 4Ω to 16Ω, giving the British Invasion useful flexibility when building a compact guitar setup. This allows it to work with a variety of compatible external speaker cabinets while maintaining a highly portable amplifier format.

FX Loop for Pedal Integration

The built-in FX loop provides a convenient connection point for external effects. Time-based and other compatible effects can be integrated between the amplifier's preamp and power amp sections, making the NLA-1 suitable for players who already have a pedalboard or want to expand their rig.

Practice, Recording and Playback

The headphone/line output provides a convenient option for silent practice and recording, while the Aux In allows you to connect an external music player and play along with backing tracks. These connections make the British Invasion useful beyond traditional amplifier-and-cabinet setups.

Compact Portable Design

Measuring just 128mm wide, 75mm deep, and 59.5mm high, the NLA-1 is small enough to take almost anywhere. Its compact 520g design makes it an appealing choice for home musicians, mobile players, rehearsal setups, and guitarists who want a dedicated amplifier head without carrying a full-size amp.
