High-Gain Rectifier-Inspired Tone

The Heart Attack is voiced around the character of the Mesa Boogie Rectifier, delivering the aggressive high-gain response associated with hard rock and metal guitar. Its compact Class AB amplifier design gives players a dedicated high-gain platform without the size and bulk of a conventional amplifier head.

Flexible Gain and EQ Controls

Dedicated Gain and Volume controls make it easy to set the desired amount of drive and output level, while the 3-band Bass, Middle, and Treble EQ provides straightforward tonal shaping. This lets you tailor the amplifier response to different guitars, pickups, cabinets, and playing styles.

Compatible with 4–16Ω Cabinets

The Heart Attack features a speaker output that can automatically accommodate compatible cabinets with impedances from 4Ω to 16Ω. This provides useful flexibility when pairing the amplifier with different suitable guitar cabinets in a compact rig.

FX Loop for External Effects

The built-in FX Loop gives you Send and Return connections for integrating external effects into the amplifier signal path. This makes the Heart Attack a useful foundation for pedalboards and expanded guitar setups while retaining its core high-gain character.

Practice and Recording Connectivity

The headphone output is convenient for quiet practice and recording, while the Aux In lets you connect an external music player and play along with backing tracks or other audio. These connections make the Heart Attack practical for everyday guitar practice as well as creative recording environments.
