Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 Keyboard

The C1 Air uses Korg's RH3 Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 keyboard with 88 full-size keys covering the complete A0 to C8 range. The weighting is designed to reproduce the graduated feel of an acoustic piano, with a natural response that helps players develop proper technique and expressive control.

Five selectable touch curves allow the keyboard response to be adjusted to suit different playing styles, from gentle and sensitive playing to stronger performances requiring a firmer touch.

Concert Grand Piano Sound

Korg developed the C1 Air's piano sounds by sampling two carefully selected concert grand pianos, representing German and Japanese piano characteristics. These sounds provide contrasting tonal personalities suitable for classical music, jazz, pop, contemporary playing, and everyday piano practice.

The stereo PCM sound engine provides detailed piano reproduction while 120-note maximum polyphony helps maintain sustained notes and complex passages with greater clarity.

30 High-Quality Sounds

Beyond its piano voices, the C1 Air includes 30 sounds arranged across 10 sound categories and three banks. These additional sounds expand the instrument's versatility for practice, arrangements, songwriting, and casual performance.

Brilliance, Reverb, and Chorus effects can further shape the character of the selected sound, with three levels available for each effect.

Three-Pedal Piano System

The integrated three-pedal system provides Damper, Soft, and Sostenuto pedals for a more complete piano-playing experience. Half-pedaling is supported on the Damper and Soft pedals, allowing more precise control over sustain and dynamics.

Bluetooth Audio Connectivity

The C1 Air includes Bluetooth Audio functionality using the A2DP wireless audio profile. Compatible smartphones, tablets, and other Bluetooth devices can stream music through the piano's built-in speaker system, making it convenient to play along with songs, lessons, backing tracks, or other audio material.

Built-In Recorder and Piano Songs

The two-part recorder allows players to record and replay performances, making it useful for practice, songwriting, and reviewing technique. The C1 Air also includes 50 built-in demo songs, consisting of 10 sound demonstration songs and 40 piano songs.

The built-in piano songs provide useful practice material, while the metronome offers adjustable tempo, beat, sound, and level settings for structured practice sessions.

Powerful Built-In Speaker System

Two 10 cm speakers are driven by 25 W of amplification per side, delivering a total of 50 W of output power. The integrated speaker system provides a full and detailed sound suitable for everyday home practice and performance without requiring external amplification.

Elegant Brown Cabinet Design

The Brown version features a wood-finish cabinet designed to complement a variety of home interiors. The integrated stand and speaker system create a traditional digital piano appearance while keeping the instrument relatively compact compared with a conventional acoustic piano.
