Revolutionary Millennium III Action with Carbon Fiber
Beneath its luminous transparent exterior lies uncompromising mechanical excellence. The CR-40A is equipped with Kawai's renowned Millennium III Action featuring ABS-Carbon composites. By infusing carbon fiber into traditional structural components, Kawai achieves exceptional rigidity and reduced weight, yielding lightning-fast key repetition speeds, supreme touch sensitivity, and effortless dynamic control. The playing experience is further refined by NEOTEX™ key surfaces, which mimic the organic feel of genuine ivory and ebony while absorbing hand perspiration to ensure a secure, slip-resistant grip during extended performances.
Pristine Acoustic Engineering and Tonal Depth
Engineered to deliver a rich, resonant concert-quality voice that matches its extraordinary visual presence, the CR-40A incorporates professional acoustic architecture:
- Solid Spruce Tapered Soundboard: Carefully selected premium spruce, strategically tapered to maximize vibration efficiency, warmth, and dynamic projection.
- Fore & Back Duplex Scaling: Enhances upper and lower register harmonics, introducing brilliant singing qualities and rich overtones to every note.
- Precision Agraffes: Fitted across the 1st to 54th keys to guarantee absolute uniformity in string spacing, vibration angle, and long-term tuning stability.
