SRT Powered Acoustic Violin Sound

The YSV104 is the first Silent Violin to feature Yamaha's SRT Powered system. Instead of relying on a conventional resonant acoustic body, the system recreates the tonal response, body resonance, and ambience of an acoustic violin so players can hear a more natural sound through the supplied earphones.

Left and right channel volume, frequency response, and delay are optimized to provide a convincing playing experience while keeping the physical acoustic output of the solid-body instrument low.

Quiet Practice with Headphones

The YSV104 is particularly suited to situations where conventional acoustic violin volume may be inconvenient. Connecting the control box to headphones allows the player to practice and monitor the instrument privately while others nearby experience much less acoustic sound from the instrument itself.

ROOM and HALL Sound Settings
