The Dangerous Music LIAISON is a high-end analog routing matrix designed to function as a programmable patchbay for professional studios. It allows engineers to instantly route, switch, compare, and store complex analog signal chains without repatching cables, bringing digital-style recall and workflow speed into the analog domain while maintaining a fully transparent signal path.

Programmable Analog Signal Routing

The LIAISON enables instant recall of analog routing configurations, allowing up to six stereo or mono insert loops to be switched in and out of the signal path. This makes it possible to build, store, and recall complete outboard processing chains for mixing, mastering, or tracking sessions with a single button press.

Six Stereo Insert Loops with Flexible Ordering

The system is built around six high-quality stereo insert loops that can be independently engaged or bypassed. Engineers can also reorder insert pairs, enabling rapid experimentation such as changing compression and EQ order without repatching hardware.

Dual Independent Stereo Buses

The LIAISON includes two fully independent stereo buses (Bus A and Bus B), allowing parallel routing of different signal chains. These buses can be used separately or chained together, enabling complex workflows such as comparing mix-bus processing chains or running parallel mastering setups simultaneously.

Latency-Free Parallel Processing

A dedicated parallel processing loop allows processed and unprocessed signals to be blended in real time with zero latency. This is especially useful for parallel compression, EQ blending, or creative phase-based processing techniques in analog workflows.

Instant A/B Comparison System

The relay-based switching system enables immediate, gapless A/B comparisons between different pieces of gear or processing chains. This eliminates the delays typically caused by manual patching and significantly improves decision-making accuracy during mixing and mastering.

Programmable Memory Recall

The LIAISON includes onboard memory storage that allows engineers to save up to four complete routing configurations. These can be recalled instantly, making it easy to switch between different sessions, setups, or creative configurations.

Ultra-Transparent Relay-Based Design

Built with audiophile-grade components and relay switching, the LIAISON maintains an extremely transparent signal path. When bypassed, gear is completely removed from the circuit, ensuring no coloration, latency, or signal degradation.
