Acoustic Design & Flexible System Configurations
The ES 503 consists of two passive wooden top satellites and one active subwoofer equipped with a 12” woofer. Each top satellite houses four 3” neodymium full-range speakers equipped with a specially designed reflection phase plug that increases horizontal coverage and ensures intelligible vocal reproduction. The system can be configured in three distinct ways:
- Mono Mode: Both tops are mounted on a single spacer pole above the subwoofer for a concentrated, high-output single-column setup.
- Stereo Mode: The tops are separated onto individual speaker stands, utilizing the built-in stereo amplifier channels to create a wide stereo image.
- Double Stereo Mode: Two complete ES 503 systems are linked together to handle larger venues and wider stereo setups.
Onboard Digital Mixer & OLED Display
Driven by an integrated 3-channel digital mixer, the system provides flexible input routing: Channel 1 features a mic/instrument combo connector with adjustable digital gain and FX send; Channel 2 and 3 offer line-level combo inputs alongside an onboard Bluetooth receiver for wireless audio streaming from smartphones and tablets. An intuitive OLED display allows users to navigate the full onboard digital processor (DSP) to control system gain, EQ, delay, crossover, and limiter settings effortlessly.
Digipro® G3 Class-D Amplification
The subwoofer module integrates a reliable Digipro G3 Class-D amplifier delivering 1000 W peak power. A convection-cooled power section guarantees silent operation even under heavy load, while dual active limiters protect the internal components against distortion and thermal overload.
